Embodied Peacemaking Sessions in February

I work with Paul Linden, founder of Being in Movement (www.being-in-movement.com) regularly, and will step into the rather large shoes of the man himself, Paul Linden, to guest-lead the next session of “Embodied Methods of Reducing Violence and Injustice” on Feb. 10, Wednesday, from 11:30am-12:30pm MST.

This is an Embodiment Circle, and is free to join; you may donate to Paul to keep his work (and his bad jokes) going! (Donation details in event info below.)

Easy to join if you already have the Embodiment Circle Zoom join link; if not, get it here: https://embodimentcircle.com/embodiment-circle-online/

If you’d like to learn the basics of Embodied Peacemaking in a smaller setting, join the special President’s Day “Embodying Power and Love” session on Monday, Feb. 15 at 4pm.

Learn the basics of Embodied Peacemaking, the method developed by Paul Linden (Being in Movement) in this 90-minute, donation-based class. This session is for all humans who wish to reduce violence in themselves and those around them. Learn easy, practical, powerful body-based ways to bring more peace into yourself and the world. No experience needed, only interest.

Please share!

June 30 Cliff Spa Yoga and Meditation Retreat

“Summer Stillness Yoga and Meditation Retreat” at Snowbird’s Cliff Spa

Sunday, June 30 from 11:30am-3pm

Join Dana for a three-and-a-half hour journey from outer to inner stillness. This retreat will include yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, intention-setting, personal awareness work, and other practices designed to lead you inwards. We will set aside our distractions (including devices), and focus on ourselves for the time of the retreat.

If you’d like to continue your journey afterwards, join me for a silent soak in the rooftop hot tub.  (If this sounds little scary, all the better–it’s probably just what you need!)

Bring a friend, spend the day…the retreat fee includes access to the entire spa, and a discount on spa services (please book beforehand through the Cliff Spa itself).

Join me and the mountains!

Fee: $90

Limited to 15 participants. Registration closes when the maximum number is reached. In case of low registration (less than 4) by June 21, retreat will be canceled and all payments refunded, less any service fees. Other payment details shown in “Payment Policies” area on the registration page; be sure to read before booking.

May-September “Second Sunday 2-Hour Restore” Class

“Second Sunday 2-Hour Restore” with Dana Levy

—May 13, June 10, July 8 DATE CHANGE:July 15!, Aug. 12 & Sept. 9—

5:00-7:00 pm

Dana’s “Second Sunday 2-Hour Restore” classes offer an opportunity to refresh the body and mind, and prepare for the upcoming week. By using a variety of props, poses can be held for longer periods of time, which allows the mind, body and breath to settle and the nervous system to reset, resulting in deep relaxation. This class is appropriate for all students; experience with props (blankets, bolsters, etc.) is helpful, but not required. All props supplied by the studio. Held at Mindful Yoga Collective (223 S. 700 E., Suite #4) on the second Sunday of each month.

Price: $20/class

**Early Bird Discount Passes (through May 12)**

  • 5-Class Pass: $90($18.00/class)

  • 4-Class Pass: $75($18.75/class)

Purchase your pass here, before May 12!

Super Bowl Sunday Restorative Yoga!

What? Did I really schedule Restorative Yoga on Super Bowl Sunday?!

Yes, I did.

Well, you COULD stay home wolfing Chex Mix and yelling at the ref, as could I….

…OR, you could join us at Mindful Yoga Collective for Sunday Restorative Yoga, from 5:00-6:30pm on Feb. 7. (If you REALLY want to make a night of it, stay for First Sunday Mindfulness afterwards.)

I hate to make you choose.  And yet, at the same time, I don’t.  Because you’ll know what you need, at that moment, on that day, at that time.

I’ll be there. Hope to see you. Bring a friend!

(And, don’t forget the Chex Mix!)
